Is Saudi Arabia lending money or aid to other countries?
Yes because Saudi Arabia is part of the IMF, and they lend money to the United States. They need the money to finance the war in Iraq.

Environmental Policies

Saudi Arabia affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been keen in its environmental policies on adopting the concept of sustainable development and deepening it al all levels to ensue effective participation of all strata of society in the efforts to protect the environment and conserve its resources.


What has Saudi Arabia done to help our earth?
They also came up with the "Sixth's Plan" (1995-2000) which was devoted to environmental issues such as:
Safeguard and enhance the natural environment and prevent pollution by implementing
  1. Protecting the environment and safeguard its natural characteristics, in addition to the maintenance of natural resources;
  2. Protecting and developing wildlife in the Kingdom, together with preserving the natural equilibrium of its ecology in terms of the genetic diversity of its zoological and botanical makeup;
  3. Maintaining continued equilibrium with regard to optimal population distribution and environmental integration -taking into consideration the impact of population growth and consumption patterns on natural resources.
